Vegan Banana Cacao Smoothie Bowl

Vegan banana and cacao smoothie bowl that tastes just like chocolate ice cream...but it’s secretly healthy!

Equipment

  • You will need: a blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium bananas, cut into small pieces and frozen overnight or for at least 4 hours. 1 & 1/2 cups chopped banana
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 2 heaping tablespoons nut butter

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor and pulse until smooth and creamy!
  • Transfer to a bowl and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Use your preferred nut butter, I use peanut butter.
  • This makes a thick, creamy smoothie bowl that resembles soft serve ice cream. If you want something thinner, slowly add more milk.
  • *I typically don’t use sweetened milk, but I did for this recipe. Feel free to use unsweetened but it may not be as sweet.
